Name - Eden Silverlight
Age- 24
---January 23rd, 1989
Sexuality - Heterosexual
Species - Werewolf (quadruped)
Height - 5’
Weight - 115 pounds
Hair Colour - Black
Eyes Color - Blue
Build - slim and lithe
Physical Appearance -
Eden was born premature and was rather tiny for a “premie” at that. She’ll always be small and petite, with delicate features however that are proportioned more in an elegant manner than something that would be considered “cute”. Aside from appearing fragile, this girl can run and she’s very good at being fast.
Without looking at her stature, one often notices her shoulder-length, wavy raven hair (when not worn pulled back) and striking blue eyes. While not an alarming blue, they’re calm and clear like a summer sky, and match a charming smile. Perhaps her only striking drawback is how pale she is, having spent a childhood sheltered from the elements due to ailments coming from her birth. One thing her “curse” seems to have remedied is her once sickly-ish health.
Growing up, Eden never really had to worry about the latest fashions. Being small made it so most of her clothes had to be taken in if they were bought, so she made a point of learning how to sew. Most of her wardrobe is made up of custom clothes or modified garments bought from department stores. In general, her appearance tends to be more “classy”, since she takes pride in how she looks (possibly stemming from a slight insecurity about how she looks).
The scars from her mauling criss-cross her back as though her flesh was woven back together like a basket.
Personality -
Simply put, she was sheltered. Eden is timid and shy around strangers, but opens up like a steamed clam around good friends. In public she’s quiet and reserved, often being described as “professional”. Being sickly as a child gave her mother the perfect opportunity to raise a lady, and her father every chance in the world to teach her the rhetoric of speaking one’s mind in a diplomatic way. It was only after she had used their own tricks against them that her parents learned that they had given their daughter a sharp mind.
Eden is intelligent and can be outspoken, though not always when she might want to be. She has great skill when it comes to holding her tongue, though she tends to hold it a bit too much during an argument. It isn’t uncommon for her, when she gets heated about something, to suddenly stop mid-sentence, unable to continue. Once you get to know her, however, she can be sarcastically humorous, and there’s the spark of a rebel in her.
Ironically, for a girl who spent the beginning of her life in a hospital, her greatest fear is perhaps physical pain. If things like being cut or burned, or stuck with a needle can be avoided, by all means she will avoid it. Once she’s injured, however, she can deal with it rather well. Its more the prospect of potentially being able to avoid it. Much the same way someone might opt to climb down from a height instead of jump, in her mind she predicts herself always having the worst of luck. Just because you jumped and were fine doesn’t mean she’ll jump and not break her leg.

History -
Born in 1989, Eden was brought into a well-off family in Kentucky who owned and bred racehorses. While not raising any “household name” champions like Secretariat, their farm did bring in sizable amounts of money from their breeding operations, graded stakes winners, and her mother’s side hobby of Morgan and Arabian/Morgan cross show horses (naturally, with their own stable). During the summers when she was healthy enough, Eden was allowed to walk the pastures with her father, enjoying the company of the mares and watching the foals. It wasn’t until she grew stronger at the age of 14 that she was allowed to begin learning to ride.
Learning to ride was one of the greatest things she’d ever been allowed to do. It was on a returned “trainer horse” that was more of a sleepy gelding than anything else. While her paranoid mother was adamant that her daughter never do anything complex on a horse like show jump, she did allow her to take trail rides with her around the property. It wasn’t until she was 17 in 2006 that her gelding went lame and had to be euthanized. Confident in her ability, Eden made a point of riding a younger horse. Shortly after mounting a young thoroughbred, the horse trotted off without cue, kicked out and then bucked, an unprepared Eden falling and breaking her wrist and he mother ending her brief time as a rider.
Stricken by this tragedy, Eden was allowed to travel with the horses to shows or the track and she often would sneak into their stalls and sit with them. It was on a trip to New York for the 2009 Belmont Stakes that her life changed forever.
The night before the 141st running, she was attending a party with a friend who’s father was a friend of her father’s. The banquet had been held outside in the nice June weather, and that was when the “rabid” dog showed up. Eden had been just close enough to hear the bushes rustle and to see the flash of yellow eyes and but hadn’t had time to react. The hound (later identified as a wolf) lunged, she tripped on the hem of her dress and its teeth and claws sank into her back. The next thing she remembers is hearing a gun fire and waking up in the hospital on her stomach.
The doctors had been able to reconstruct her back, saying there was a good possibility of healing and a full recovery was suspected with the help of physical therapy. All she did was cry. Opting to stay behind in New York to receive the treatment, her parents returned to Kentucky. Eden was given the best therapy program but it didn’t last long. The first night she changed, the vague shred of humanity in her animal mind realized that no amount of therapy would help her. After that, she moved to Boston seeking a new life and a means to cope with the beast within her that she has struggled with for nearly three years.
Items of Interest - Eden has a leather bracelet crafted from the bridle of her gelding that she wear on her left wrist.
Wolf
Wolf Appearance -
Dark gray and streamlined is really the only means of describing her. Like her human form, she’s built for speed and agility. The top of her fur is black and fades to a mid-gray on her belly. She has a silvery-grey above her eyes and on all of her toes. Her paw pads and nose are black while her eyes remain the blue of her human self. The fur on her back, however, possesses a bit of an odd texture. While the hairs themselves are smooth, if one ran their hand over her back, there would be slight dips; the evidence of the scars beneath that brought on the wolf.
Wolf Personality -
Eden's wolf is intelligent and cunning. She knows she doesn't have the brute strength to take on much of anyone, but she uses her size to her advantage. In personality, she's more of a fox than a wolf; a trickster waving the flag of submission only to get at your throat with it. Not a leader, but not quite a follower, she's more of the covert operator. Without much loyalty to anyone, she will follow the order of the current leader until someone stronger comes along to bring him down. As long as it isn't her, she really doesn't much care.
