NAME Harold Thomas Fitzpatrick ALIAS Red AGE 83 (appears 25) BIRTHDAY April 12, 1930 SPECIES Hellhound—also called black dog/ghost dog/doom dog ORIENTATION He has the best of both worlds, Hannah Montana style.
LOCATION Boston, but he can be anywhere. OCCUPATION Ex-soldier, WILL FIGURE OUT HIS CURRENT JOB LATER??
ARMY SHIT U.S. Army, 101st airborne/Screaming Eagles. CPL, paratrooper. Fought in Korean War and Vietnam War awarded Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
MOTHER Sarah Murray FATHER Ross Fitzpatrick CHILDREN Bill, Melody, Herbert, Bruce, Thomas, Donna
HEIGHT 6’3” WEIGHT 170 EYES Blue HAIR Brownish red TATTOOS Fitzpatrick family crest on his back, paratrooper wings on his chest between/under his collar bones. Screaming Eagles patch tatted on his shoulder. (refs coming soon) APPEARANCE Red is, put simply, a more well-dressed version of the typical “invisible man.” He is tall and lanky, yet well-built from his years of labor and his time spent in the war. The man is paper-white, but unlike the rest of his family, his skin, while riddled with scars, is clear of freckles and blemishes. His hair is an unkept wicked red color (hence the name.) He rarely shaves completely and is always scruffy at his cheeks, jawline and neck.
There is an air of elegance and sophistication in the way that Red puts effort into his appearance, while simultaneously managing to go largely unnoticed in the face of a crowd. His posture is always straight and his eyes are always steady, piercing and unwaveringly observant. In the presence of rare company, his endlessly calm and neutral body language leaves the everyday individual under the impression that he is typical, that he is another well-rounded sheep of the herd.
But small indicators of thoughts and stresses are seen through the occasional darkening of brooding eyes. In the areas that cannot be covered, such as his face and his hands, there are several faded scars that tell a tale of his past that would never leave his own lips.
PERSONALITY Red was born an old soul. From the beginning, even as a child—Red had been a lurking, hovering child that had preferred to watch his siblings play from a distance rather than join in on the fun. As he had grown older, Red had turned into a very similar man that he is now. Secretive, private, and eerily knowledgeable about the going-ons people’s lives around him. Those who had known him through his earlier days would have collectively described Red as a quiet but wise man, someone who knew how to “help” just about anyone without ever having to put his own foot in the door. This carries through and is still true today, however years of war and tragic losses have warped him into a hardened, heavily guarded ghost of a man.
Some would have described him as a great man for many reasons—his pride and his fierce devotion to what he cared for, his sense of self-discipline, his firm beliefs in not only doing what was right, but doing what must be done. In him, even the madness that fueled him in wartimes had made ignorant people, unknowing of the sheer weight of the blood on his hands, call him a hero. Red has what is nearly boundless patience that can be swept away just as easily as it is maintained, which is possibly one of his greatest (and most alarming) traits—control.
There is a mixing pot of memories, loss, and blood that rests comfortably on his weary shoulders, causing frequent triggers of severe PTSD. Category 1 PTSD, Red will often relive his times in war, and has the potential to be triggered into a flashback or a full blown episode—reactions such as these often leave him confused and panicked when “experiencing” the war all over again—he will usually put his uniform back on, keep himself armed. Violent outbursts during an episode or a flashback are also a possibility depending on how an individual approaches him.
MISC INFORMATION -Red can be triggered almost too easily into an episode from something as simple as hearing a gunshot. -He has a near photographic memory. -Extremely detailed memory of traumatic or “bad” events. He can recall every kill he has ever made, what they looked like, what they sounded like, how they looked when the life left their eyes, why he killed them, ect. This goes hand in hand with a detailed memory of every bad injury he has gotten, every near-death experience. -EXTREMELY racist against Asians, largely due to his experiences in the wars.

THE BEARER OF DEATH image will go here when I’m not lazy and I learn how to art. LORE Hellhounds appear in various mythologies around the world, under several different names. The one thing that they all have in common is that they take the form of a massive, monstrous black dog that are known to be found roaming the hillsides at night. Often considered an omen of imminent peril, these ghostly-appearing creatures take the responsibility as guardians of burial grounds and gravesites, as well as guarding supernatural artifacts or hunting lost souls. It is said that looking into their eyes three times will result in an abrupt, unexpected death. While they have adopted the name “bearer of death,” they have also been told to act as a guide for both lost souls and lost travelers, assisting in leading them to their home. HEIGHT 4’5” WEIGHT ?? APPEARANCE Impressively large, the hellhound looks more like a beast from a horror game than a “dog.” The creature lacks the long, shaggy fur that is often described of him and instead bears himself as messy skin and scar—charcoal-black, his spine is sloped and his neck is long. Tattered ears remained glued to the skull; Large, stained, crooked teeth spread in every angle, covered by skin and gum, no lip. In the dark, the hound is nearly impossible to detect among the shadows. There is little that gives away its presence beyond the smell of burning coal and the glowing glare of spitting yellow eyes. He is nearly weightless when he walks, leaving behind faint impressions (and sometimes none) in the ground in his passing. His paws are bony and his claws are long and hooked. PERSONALITY The personality of the beast is hard to say. It is undeniably intelligent—painfully observant and calculating in its watch. While Red does retain his memories after his shift, there is no trace of the human in the night. However the horrifying, macabre look to the animal is mostly for show. The hellhound does not attack to kill unless provoked, but will do whatever is necessary to “protect” and maintain the post that he has assigned to himself. He attempts to scare and ward off before resorting to violence. Though he is not the typical “vicious” stereotype, seeking nothing but harm and destruction, the hound is still the hound. If bitten, he will bite back. ABILITIES - Increased strength and remarkable speed. - Can disappear and reappear in small areas. (i.e. disappear in front of you, reappear behind you.) - Has the ability to perform as a reaper, hunting and banishing lost souls. - Creates “burning” wounds through gashes by claw and punctures by tooth. - Not an ability, but noteworthy: generally leaves a burning smell or an actual burn on surfaces wherever he goes. WEAKNESSESSalt will keep him away for as long as it is maintained. Silver bullets have the ability to kill him, permanently.
