OOC:: Please ignore my shameless post recycle, it never got any bites on IDS sooo...yeah haha.
Was it... Was it finally over? That scorching heat from outside metal walls seemed to have passed now? Oh dear. No. No he was too frightened to look, he'd wait a little longer before he took any peeks, lest he almost go blind again. Living in the metal box had been nothing like living in Ursula's attic, where it had been dark and cool all the time. He had no idea what had happened but for some reason yesterday, the sky had gotten very bright, and his skin very very hot. He'd never known of something like this in hell, where there was no such thing as a sun or natural light. It had been so hot he'd felt as if he'd nearly caught on fire, and, well, maybe he had. He had the burn marks to show for it at least. So he'd run down some random alley and hopped inside a very large treasure bin, it wasn't like the shiny trash cans he'd seen before with the Kanta. This one was very large, and the treasures had been contained in black sacks, which he had ripped up and used to burrow himself away from the heat, which had found him anyways as the day passed on. At one point he'd thought he'd almost die, when someone dared to open the lid, and let all that terrible heat in. It still ached in his eyes the thought of that ghastly brightness, threatening to rip out his eyes and burrow into his skull. Elamond had been far too frightened by it all to make a single sound, and after something fell on him he'd burrowed up a little to see the door shut, and a new treasure package just for him. He dared not open or even think to open the door after that. Instead he'd slowly cooked as though he were in hell's oven, awaiting the moment where it would once again be that fun darkness that had come before. He'd been so scared, what if it never came back?! What if he was to be stuck in the box forever with nothing but black bags and a suffocating heat to be his calling? It'd be enough to turn a demon insane that was for sure. At one point he'd thought to run out of the box and seek cooler shelters, but the memory of the man simply opening the box was enough to deter him from such a thing for many more hours. But he was becoming restless again now. He hated being so still, so trapped. Something could come along and eat him without a single second thought and he'd be helpless! No this was no way to survive, and yet...it seemed to have done a pretty swell job? For the first time in hours Elamond the Demon moved himself. Stretched his long legs until they pressed against the opposite side of the box, and curled his back the wrong way to stretch himself as much as demonically possible in his contained area. His hands slowly peeled away from his face, and the vulture-like feathers on his back slowly stood on end and fell back down again. Small wings, far too small to fly with, flapped a couple times then curled up against him once more, then slowly, cautiously, he lifted his head, and slouched upwards to the roof and/or door of the Dumpster. His wide green eyes glowing despite the lack of lighting, and his mouth opening to exhale a single raspy breath before reaching up with a clawed hand to touch the ceiling. It didn't feel smoldering? He still didn't trust it. Not like this. So, grabbing as many of the black shredded garbage bags as he could, he threw them over himself and tied them up. One over his head, on his back, and over his eyes like a blindfold. Slowly he pressed a hand against the lid, his body pressed flat and head tucked under, protected by a couple arms as he nervously started to raise the lid, then drop it abruptly in fear, then raise it again. Slow and steady. Nothing... It wasn't too hot? No it..wasn't really hot at all anymore. In fact it might even be hotter in his treasure box? He poked his head out tentatively, then gasped in relief. Yes. Yes this was infinitely better than what he was previously doing. He crawled out of that treasure box so fast he practically fell out of it, gasping another deep breath of relief. Wow what a difference! This was so nice and cool this stony floor! He ripped off the blindfold on his eyes and opened them to another starry sky, smiling to himself as he did. Yes. The sky lights were back and he was back in whatever the heck kinda business he was doing out in this strange strange world. He lay on the floor a little longer, then rolly pollied over unto his stomach, and laid like that a little while. It was almost as though he was reverse tanning. Even the floor wasn't as cold as it had been he decided to sit up sharply and look around. Any Kantas today? Anything delicious to eat? Elamond was ready for the wonderful yet confusing trials of earth yet again!

(OOC: Raptor is a mutant demon who turns into some weird mutant Deinonychus thing, she's also blind - Post was modified and just got the word mutant replaced by demon 0-0)
The sound of something large could be heard walking through the alleys, the clacking noise of claws was clear as they hit the concrete floor, a rather strange beast had emerged from the shadows of Boston's alleys.
It was as big as a large dog and was covered in green-brown scales, it sniffed the air with caution as it's reptilian eyes shifted from side to side.
It would be hard to believe that this thing was human as it still wore what remained of it's clothes, torn at the edges and tattered from use.
---
Raptor was used to letting her more feral side out to have some fun, these alleys where usually empty at night. No one had seen her yet and if anyone did see her no one would believe them.
No one would believe someone saying that they had just seen something from Jurassic park running around in the alleys...
Being in her full form felt so good, the extra strength in her limbs and the feeling of wind whipping at her side as she ran around in speeds that no human could possibly reach. It felt so perfect as if this was what she really should be...sadly in a world filled by humans that would be a bad idea.
The sound of something moving around in the other part of an alley caught the lizard's attention, her blind eyes turning in the direction of the noise as she sniffed around. She was trying to find out what was in the alley, the closer she got the more obvious it was that it's scent wasn't human...actually it was something she had never smelled before.
"Hey there, what cha doin in that dumpster..."
She spoke in a slow rattling voice that sounded both strained and forced from her fanged jaws...hey it was hard to talk when you where a mutant overgrown lizard.
She tilted her head to the side as her blurry vision could only see some strange looking black blurr...what in the world even was this thing.

"Hey there, what cha doin in that dumpster..." Elamond's excitement to start the night was cut short by a strange raspy voice that daunted the fanged muzzle of some...huge beast! At first Elamond had seemed very disinterested in talking, he'd delayed looking over and seemed almost anti-social towards things, ignorant and happy to live life silently, but one glance was all it took to change his mind and flip his world more than it already was. What. What.
What the hell was that?! A demon? No a...a Kanta? It had to be! Some weird Kanta that instead of being furry was scaly and different than before! Slowly Elamond stood, if the creature could see it would see only the uncertainty on Elamond face, the tense posture of a creature that had been through an ordeal, which he had. The last Kanta he'd met had nearly ripped him to shreds, now there was this. He was starting to think Hell and Earth where one and the same.
So anyways all that aside, it had asked him what he'd been doing in a dumpster, but Elamond didn't know that word so he simply tilted his head to one side. Much like a puppy would. A black, fanged, demonic puppy.
"What are you?" He muttered bluntly. Opps manners, not in the under-classed demon dictionary unfortunately. He took a step back instead, growing a second pair of arms to make four in total. His head lowered almost submissively at the sight of this thing while he near backed himself against a wall. Like most demons with eyes Elamond was very harsh to judge on appearance, he saw giant dinosaur, he saw danger. Not friendly lets have conversation.
He was intimidated, uncertain, and unpredictable, like a cornered animal his let the feathers on his back stand on end in a terrible attempt to make himself look larger, vast green eyes glowing against the moonlight like nocturnal high-beams gleaming against the scaly beast before him.
He took another step back, and felt the brick wall of the alleys against his back. Now he really was a cornered animal, this mutant beast best watch herself.
"I don't want to get hurt." he declared to her quite randomly to say the least. He was a demon to plea his mind, and to him as the lowest of the tiers everything sought to hurt him in some way. He was to a lack of confidence, frightened of everything he didn't understand, which was everything on Earth essentially. All he had were a few choice words of vocabulary that Kanta had happened to teach him before ultimately beating the crap out of him.
He saw this creature as nothing different. A thing that wished to lull him in, then hurt him when he least suspected it. Throw him against trees and rip off his limbs until he near fainted from exhaustion. Oh no. No no no no no. That wasn't going to happen again. He wouldn't let that happen again, not in what he'd been told was his paradise. Earth was supposed to be a vacation from hell and here he was cowering like usual!
But, hold the phone this thing had a soul. He could see it with his big emotionless eyes the glimmer of those precious auras the collector hunted and gathered. So it wasn't a demon, couldn't be...right? Gosh he didn't know anymore. He didn't know anything.
Whatever like he cared.
So like a man Elamond decided to pull up his pants and be a big boy, marching himself right on up to this animal thing until he stood face to face with it, then slowly reaching out a hand to touch it's face. Always with the touching, he was so curious and frightened all at the same time. But touching faces was his favorite!
Maybe it was another cruel Kanta, maybe not. Life was all about Do or Die after all.

When her voice rasped through her throat no reply came for a while, if anything the scaled creature stood there. Pale amber eyes remained staring motionless at the blur that was in front of her. Being blind wasn't exactly the most interesting thing in the world...especially if you just stood there being all awkward and not be able to see the things in front of you.
"What are you?"
The demon...or whatever she was stood there for a moment, unblinking and in deep thought. She wasn't really sure what she was ever since that incident, she had been called a demon, a monster and countless other names.
" I Wish I knew "
The creature shifted it's shoulders in a confused manner as she spoke truthfully, never once had she taken the time of thinking what she was...or what she had become that is.
"I don't want to get hurt."
" Don't worry, I only attack if I need too, you don't seem like a threat so I won't "
The Creature declared as she turned her head in confusion at the creature that seemed to move to the back of the alley, he was nothing but a blur in her own eyes but it was safe to say he wasn't a human.
However what happened next was a bit unexpected.
She saw the blur approaching her but for the sake of not scaring this creature that seemed already terrified at her appearance (Hey anyone would be terrified of seeing some dinosaur like thing) She allowed for the stranger to place a hand on her face...or snout whatever it was. If anything the demon would probably take note that her scales where smooth and seamless despite their jagged appearance.
"You're not from around here are you, not human neither...You don't smell like one"
Obviously this kid was lost and that reminded her of herself and her brother when they where on the run. Maybe it was ironic how a creature so strange and scary looking could be so nice...go figure. She could care less of what he was because the creature had learned to accept others by how they act rather than how they looked.
(Why does this remind me of how to train your dragon?)

OOC:Haha because a creature is reaching out to touch the nose of a scaly dragon monster perhaps? XD
" I Wish I knew ," it said. Elamond was not surprised to see that this thing talked, many odd things in hell talked, though most preferred the silence. What did surprise him however was that this creature did not know what it was, that was just...confusing? How did something no know what it was?
He'd call it a demon, but it couldn't be, he saw it's soul, it's essence, it was alive. It was earth-bound, then a candidate to be departed to the afterlife. Demons had no afterlife, they had no souls, in a way they were simply animated hunks of flesh with raw instinct and emotion. They had no destiny, and a very simple purpose planned out for them. However hard one may try to become something important, they were all ants in hell. Some bigger than others granted, yes there was the queen ant, Satan, but all of them, ants. Ants in the ecosystem of earth, and it's circle of endless time.
Unlike her Elamond felt that with his one life he had more to loose than she did, and thus he was hesitant of her. Cautious, with little self confidence due to regular down beatings from all that laid eyes on him. He'd never once won a fight his entire life.
"Don't worry, I only attack if I need too, you don't seem like a threat so I won't." Elamond tilted his head at that. The same could be said for him, but he couldn't tell a threat from a peace maker until it smacked him in the face, the peacemaker that is. In his world everyone was a threat, everyone should be feared. You should run before you talk, hide before you fight. It kept you alive, it kept you healthy in the world of war.
Finally his curiosity got the better of him, as Elamond swallowed his fear and walked up to this beast head on, placing a clawed hand on it's scaly snout. This was the second time he'd touched something without hurting it. The process was still fascinating to him. You didn't have to hurt something to touch it, to feel it's skin, and not draw blood, not rip flesh. Wondrous indeed. He rubbed the snout of this creature as though he forgot it may or may not be a person like himself. Interested in the texture conflicting the appearance, liking the green, like a toddler he exploited every detail to his delight. Glancing only momentarily to her eyes, noting something wasn't right about them, it was as if she saw behind him, through him, did not focus. Maybe she could not focus? He gripped her head on both sides with his hands and pushed his forehead against her's if he may. Big owlish green eyes peering into her own, vast and emotionless, they eyes of a empathetic-less devil. He saw her soul, he saw the prize of her life, and he wanted it for his own, but fear compelled him to behave. He would not price one soul to his own life. He came before any other living thing, nothing was above his life in his own eyes. He was selfish, as any demon ought to be. He'd breath out a gust of vile scented air from his nose, then pull his head away, still holding her own assuming he'd been granted this privilege in the first place.
"You're a Kanta." He declared, Kanta, perhaps his word for werewolf, but as far as he knew it was monster changeling beasts with souls. The original Kanta had been a werewolf, his shadow, the person to guard him and keep him in line. But he wasn't here now.
"You're not from around here are you, not human neither...You don't smell like one," the beast spoke again. Funny, Kanta had asked him similar questions, what did it matter what he was?
"No. I'm a demon." Blunt, clueless, a statement openly spoken as freely as one would declare their humanity. In his world you were either a demon or a soul, and it was blatantly easy to tell them apart. There was no need for these kinds of questions, and they confused him in his current time on earth. Demon, not human. If this beast still accepted him so easily after hearing this knowledge, then she'd be a fool. A being of darkness, incapable of love, incapable of light, pure manifested dark energy kept only in line by the memories of weakness and pain. Of thinking it was inferior, as it may well be to her. Still Elamond was a creature without compassion. He would not be a faithful friend, he would not help her, or save her life. Heck he wouldn't even share his food with her if he had a choice in the matter.
Demons be demons, vile, and mentally decayed as they were. He was fascinated in Raptor, he wouldn't hurt her only because he thought himself incapable, but rest assured if he were given the chance, he'd reap her soul to the black market of hell. Pure Souls of innocents cost a fortune down there anyways.

Many would have considered it sad that they had no identity, however Raptor had learned to accept the fact that she wasn't human anymore and whatever she was wasn't something that looked friendly. Plus it was completely capable of talking through a fanged muzzle with little problem, mainly that was the reason why she didn't know what she was...mutant, demon, monster, dinosaur?
However one thing that could be considered strange about this scaly beast was the fact that it still had a soul, apparently most demons lacked this in general but she still retained this. But she did have her darkness and for now it was not threatening to break out so she wouldn't even think about it. She wondered if maybe this was why her brother left all of a sudden without a trace...having grown horns and blue scales and more violent. (Triceratops like.)
What if he had become a monster after all... No it couldn't be true he was better than that...
Anyways, if Raptor was capable of seeing this creature for what it really was she wouldn't know what to make of it. If anything the whole 'demons being soulless and having no purpose' thing would have made her feel terribly sorry for the demon. She was far too friendly for her own good and well...she could probably care less about people or creatures but she chose not to.
But then her train of thought came to a stop as the creature had approached her as expected, a hand coming into contact with her snout. She took note that whatever it was it had clawed hands and she wondered if it maybe was some kind of reptilian like herself. Well whatever he was he appeared to be rubbing her snout as if she was some sort of overgrown scaly puppy, no question he was probably curious about the scales.
She was about to move when all of a sudden two clawed hands gripped her head from both sides and she could feel pressure on her forehead. Cataract filled amber orbs darted forward to what she guessed would have been the creature. He had probably seen some oddity in her eyes and wanted a closer look she guessed. However if he would have dared to do something such as misbehave...well everyone knew what a scaled beast with claws and fangs could do to offenders. Even friendly souls like herself had 'ugly' sides when they needed to come out.
“If you are wondering I can't see anything”
Her voice as it was in this form came out raspy and void of emotion, if anything it resembled a growl as it generated from the throat rather than her own mouth.
However what came to a surprise was the vile scent that came from his breath, either he couldn't wash his teeth or he ate trash...he did came from a trashcan after all. The pressure on her forehead vanished but she was still in his grip.
"You're a Kanta."
“K- Kanta?” “What's a Kanta?”
That was something she had never been called before, hmmm...well maybe she was one but she wasn't sure.
"No. I'm a demon."
Amber orbs locked straight at what she guessed was his face, that's where his voice clearly came from. If anything her blank eyes would have seemed a bit unpleasant despite having a 'soul'. She wasn't sure what to make of a demon because she didn't know if whether to accept him or not, she had been called a demon countless times and was there even a difference?
She wouldn't make any judgment for now but she would leave him be. She would get to know this demon first and maybe then she would decide what he was. However what she did do was inhale deeply, taking in that strange new scent...hmm demon...
“Demon you say...If any human saw you they would surely attack you.”
She thought for a moment before letting out a semi loud almost whistling noise.
“You like dark places right? I know this one place where it's always dark no human can find you there.”
She was talking about that abandoned warehouse where she currently lived, it had an underground basement that she never used so why not.
