I've never factored religion heavily into my characters, but it is a very individualistic thing and I'm always interested to learn more about peoples' characters.
Sabra: Agnostic at best. The idea of God or a destiny unsettles her. Sabra just wishes to go to her grave with 'clean hands and straight eyes'.
Liam: Raised in an Irish Catholic family, went to church when he was young every Sunday (under threat of bodily harm from his mother). Attended Catholic school. He'll still go to confession every once and a while or sit and listen to a sermon, but Liam is very easy going in matters of God. Sincerely believes in the presence of God though, and salvation for that matter. Hell is an equally powerful force in his mind.
Ben (Bunny): Buddhist. Believes in balance, that good ultimately trumps evil, and those who persevere will be rewarded in the afterlife. Also believes in reincarnation.

Red heavily believes in god but keeps his mouth shut about it. Isn't one to be all HEY LOOK. IM RELIGIOUS. LET ME THRUST THIS CROSS IN YOUR FACE. PLEASE NEVER USE GODS NAME IN VAIN</3
Jethro doesn't believe in squat.
James is kind of like a closet believer. Will insist that he doesn't believe in god but HE DOES.
Cesan is agnostic. Kind of iffy about everything.

Uh, well in actual D&D Ilvyn loosely follows Olidammara, but in Penumbra I'm not really sure. He certainly does not believe in heaven, hell, a ONE TRUE CHRISTIAN GOD, or any of that crap, and he's sort of a walking slap in the face to popular religion. If he did follow a god it would probably be another pagan one but one that isn't well known of but even if he did he probably wouldn't talk about it because he wouldn't think about it often.
Cyril is an atheist. That one was easy.

Jericho: Atheist, but he finds the aesthetics of religious places appealing.
Micah: Atheist. He is an extreme realist who does not believe that their is a big magical force out there.
Logan: Raised Catholic. He was devout for a long time -- hence the cross tattooed on his neck. After turning into a wolf and after HIS FAMBLY ALL DIED!!! aw so sad. He kind of lost that faith. He'll still pray, from time to time when things are real bad or he's actually scared. I guess he still has that hope that someone out there is looking out for the good guys?

I have never thought if it before.
hmmm
Rebekah -- Her family... like a lot of families around that time, were heavily Catholic. She... believed only simply because her family had (her mother, more than her father). When her father turned her family... what faith she had was shaken. Now present day... she believes if God truly does exist, He has a sick sense of humor... or she is alive simply to find her father and kill him. So.. her faith is there... she's just very bitter and sour about it.
Zander -- He's Agnostic... and would rather not look into that at all. The thought of a deity scares the shit out of him. He believes since he hasn't killed anyone, he should be safe.
Riocard -- Atheist, border-lining Agnostic... hasn't quite accepted anything yet. But he... doesn't know what to think when all this supernatural stuff is around.
Katharine -- She's an Atheist, plain and simple.

Nate was raised Catholic, went through a brief period where his mother made him attend Sunday school, and went to church as a child. That said -- an atheist. He does not like most organized religion.
Ari is a non-practicing Jew!!! But agnostic. Comfortable with the idea of God but not much of a believer in any sort of practices.

Draco: I have no idea he believes in nature spirits and ghosts...I have no idea.
Raptor: What is this 'religion' thing you speak of.
Shasta: There is no God and religion is another way of brainwashing people into giving their money and time to a lost cause.

Vianne was raised in a conservative Christian home. Strong faith, up until later. She still believes there's a God, but doesn't think he does much. She's more into the idea of heaven vs hell and how to get there.
Delaney's an atheist. Probably amused by religious ideas and whatnot, but doesn't put any stock into anything she's told.

Aaron believes that there are other realms. Like an underworld, or hell, something along the lines of that. But he doesn't really think there is a God.
To sum it up he really doesn't give a fahk about anything to do with religion and he tries to stay clear of any conversations about it. It just creeps him out.
