Aerokin was pinned against the wall of a dark room by what seemed to be an invisible force. His chest heaved as his breaths came quick and harsh.
The figure before him was tall. That's all he knew. Every part of it's lanky body was hidden by shadows, only a silhouette of some sort of monster. Bright, glowing red eyes could be seen upon the face of the unnerving thing.
Aerokin knew, this was the Vampire he had taken with him on that long journey to death. Those burning eyes were all too familiar.
He made a motion to run, but the figure only leaned in closer, placing it's ice-cold hands on Aero's shoulders.
His face was visible now. Pale with a gleaming set of sharp teeth that looked like they could bite through titanium.
Below his shoulders was a wooden limb, molded and bloody, pierced through his heart. Aerokin wanted to scream, wanted to move somehow. But the Vampire's grip was set and he began to speak. "You will pay for this, child of the wolf." it hissed and snapped at him. "You will pay, you will pay, you will pay, you will-"
Aerokin quickly sat up in his bed with a startled gasp. His eyes were wide open and sweat clung to his hair. He sighed and placed his hands on his face, relieved that it was only a dream. He looked towards the small desk on his right, where a plastic alarm clock took place. It was 8:20, past opening time. "Shiitt.." he huffed and practically fell out of bed, heading towards the bathroom.
After a rather quick shower, Aerokin fumbled down the stairs to his job, his hair still damp.
He was the owner of a rather new shop called "Art for the Odd."
It was mainly just a huge room with all sorts of paintings, sketches, instruments and the like.
Other than the art, one of the main reasons people came to his shop was because of the famous coffee.
Oh, the coffee was to die for. Rich and creamy with just the right amount of sugar.
Aero quickly flipped the "Sorry, we're closed!" sign to "Come on in." Luckily, it wasn't a busy day, so waking up late didn't affect his business.
