The vampire woke up around seven only to find that she only had enough of her ‘drink of choice’ for her wake up drink only. You could only imagine, a strawberry blonde young lady, standing in her kitchen only in her underwear… holding a half-empty blood bag. Her expression was not a pleased one, especially since her eyes darkened as blood filled them. In fact she looked absolutely murderous, only because she wanted to get a hold of her Werewolf interest tonight. But since she now has to make a blood run, she won’t have time… and be sane at the same time. A few nights ago was a challenge, she had not wanted to ruin her night by giving into her needs. For once in a while she wanted to be normal, and date normally without the bloodlust clouding her judgment.
Since that date with Nate, she hadn’t fed on a human. Trying to be not what she was, stirred up old bitter feelings about herself. She was ashamed of what she was, and she hated it all at once – but she knew there wasn’t anything she could do about it. So for lack of better words she sucked it and moved on, at least without drinking from anyone else (a faze that happens every once in a while). Although drinking from the vein was a lot more satisfying. The ‘modern’ way of feeding herself was enough to pull her through the night without going insane, of course the bloodlust still lingered but at least it was manageable.
So she drank up what she had, washed up and got dressed. Tonight she lightly waved her hair, and threw on something casual…but still something with taste. She had decided to take a large purse with her as well so she can safely carry her stash home. With one last look at herself in the mirror, off she went. Today she decided to take her car, in case some hungry creatures decided to follow her home.
It was about 9:00pm when she arrived. Her heels clicked against the floors in the hospital, this was her first time here… but it posed no real problem since all she had to do is follow her nose. Getting what she needed wasn't an issue, as long as all of the staff were human she could by pass them easily.
But here the scent of blood was everywhere, and it was causing her to not think too rationally. This was quickly figured out when she heard a voice behind her.
“Excuse me? You’re not supposed to be here.”
Rebekah whirled around with a naïve, sheepish expression. “I’m sorry! I got lost…” she began as she approached the petite blonde nurse looking her directly in her eyes. Rebekah focused as she spoke, her voice lowering into a command, “I need you to lead me to where you keep your blood bags. Please don’t be alarmed.”
The nurse’s expression slipped into a ‘happy to help’ smile as she led Rebekah to where she needed to be. When she got there, Rebekah dismissed the nurse telling her she will leave when she’s done… and to not let anyone know she was here. After the nurse left, the Vampire was about to slip into the room when footsteps caught her attention. Rebekah froze as she pulled bags from the fridge into her bag, as quickly as she could move -- before whoever it was got there.
Since the scent of blood was so strong, she couldn't tell it wasn't a human that approached her. Rebekah slipped out of the room (with less than she wanted), with an expression that screamed she was lost, playing the naive girl normally worked.

Silas is irritated. It isn’t a rare state of being for the tall werewolf at all. If anything, he’s probably irritated a little bit too much, but at least now he has an excuse. He’s been working for a little over twenty-four hours and a goddamn intern had given a patient too much morphine. The brat was lucky that Silas had been able to save the woman, and as much as he wanted to lay into the idiot, he knew that the kid would be kicking himself for it already.
There’s nothing like knowing you almost killed someone to make you feel awful. It’s probably one of the most valuable lessons he could have learned…Silas just wished it hadn’t come at the expense of one of the patients.
Adding on top of that little headache, Evelyn has been acting strange. She’s been a little spacey recently and when Silas ventures over to the nurse’s station to look up on the status of a surgery he’s supposed to do later, she’s staring off into space. “Have something on your mind there?” He isn’t looking at her, but this is how their relationship goes. If he talks to someone without biting their head off…it’s probably to Eve, or Nate, but Nate hasn’t been in all day, and Silas has to force himself off of that painful expression.
It actually helps that Eve doesn’t answer him, because it forces Silas to look up at her. She’s still looking into space a little bit and the surgeon’s eyebrows pull together in his disgruntlement. “Eve?” He growls, and when she still doesn’t look, he barks out at her. “Evelyn!” She blinks and looks at him apologetically.
“Sorry, Silas…did you need something?”
Her words are completely innocuous and absolutely unconvincing judging on how long it took him to get her attention. He sets his jaw, staring at her for a moment. “How long have you been here?” His voice is softer now, and she blinks.
“I’m not sure. It’s weird, but I can’t remember.”
Silas rolls his eyes and finishes scribbling something down on the chart in his hands. “Go the hell home, Eve. This is how patients die!” He growls out. Which, okay, probably hadn’t been the most sensitive thing he could have said to her, but after this morning’s mishap, he isn’t interested in anything else happening. She promises him that she’ll leave soon and he rolls his eyes but lets it go because it’s probably the nearest thing to an assent he’s going to get from her. “I’m going to go check the blood supply for that craniotomy I have tomorrow. That guy’s a bleeder.” He doesn’t see Evelyn’s slightly panicked expression as he puts the chart away and turns to walk towards where they keep the blood. He’s preoccupied, figuring out how he’s going to be able to slip in a nap before the surgery and not miss much.
There’s so goddamn much going on in Silas’ head, that having to stop working, even to sleep, isn’t something he’s interested in. Stopping lets thoughts get in, thoughts that he tries his best to push down and smother with work because they aren’t something he wants to feel. Mostly thoughts about a certain promiscuous werewolf, and since Silas is only sleeping with one person right now, he knows it isn’t him.
He’s so preoccupied, that he nearly runs straight into a girl who’s walking out of the room he’s about to go into. For a second, he stares blankly at her before a truly murderous expression crosses over his face. This is no someone he knows…which isn’t surprising since most people are afraid of him…but he knows the interns, and this girl doesn’t even look remotely old enough to be an intern. “What the fuck?” He snaps before he can catch himself. He tries not to curse in front of the patients, but he can’t really help himself.
His face flushes with embarrassment at his slip and he takes a step back so he isn’t bearing down on the girl and he speaks again, his voice tightly controlled, but still kinda short and snippy. “What the hell are you doing in there? You know that’s for hospital employees only.” His words are growled out, and he wants to wait for an answer, but he just can’t. “Can I help you with something, miss?”
His voice is anything by friendly and accommodating.

As soon as he bumped into her, her expression slipped from naive innocence to complete shock. As the air around them moved she caught a very familiar scent. This is what caused her hesitate, because she didn't think she'd bump into another so soon... that is unless her mind was playing tricks on her. Since she's around so much blood, she wouldn't be surprised if her mind was a little on the edge -- and if so she apparently scented a lycanthrope and that was in direct connection with Nathaniel (whom she had almost wanted to bite at).
Rebekah staggered, like any normal human girl would have done, especially if a man his size hit her. In reality she could have handled his weight, but she wasn't wanting to get caught, not now... not when she found her source of food and was ready to leave. The man cursed rudely at her, and only an expression of pure shock crossed her face. This was another facade, otherwise if she knew him, he would have received a scoff and an eye-roll. Rebekah played the nervous girl, hands shaking and all. "I...i'm sorry I-I" she stammered avoiding his gaze completely.
The next he spoke, it was a little more controlled, causing the little actress to peek up at him nervously. "I-I got lost on the way back from visiting someone. I c-can't... I got turned around. I'm sorry!" she stuttered, as faux tears filled her eyes. Inwardly she was groaning yet... if he was what she scented, she wanted to get out of there before he realizes that she isn't what she is playing to be. "I'm just... looking for the way out." she added quietly, appearing as if she was trying to control her own emotions.
Light green eyes would glance up at his darker ones, searching them for help. Although Rebekah sensed he wasn't going to be easy to fool, even with her near perfect performance -- playing the damsel in distress was one of her favorites. It was mainly because it was the complete opposite of who she was now, and emotional she was not, especially a sniffling pathetic little girl. No, she liked to feel like she is in control.... bit of course she loves her games.
Rebekah would quietly await his response, as wet nervous eyes glanced up at the not so happy doctor. All the while, she needed to keep herself in control... the scent of blood was all around her, and it wasn't helping her concentrate. Her jaw was sort of set tight as she fought to keep control of her expression.
"..Please?" she pleaded, hoping to either a) win him over, or b) irritate him enough to not want to deal with an almost crying woman.
